Glasses Glasses with EyeBuyDirect

Thursday, June 09, 2016

I'm a full-time university student and part-time content creator. So as you can probably imagine, I spend a lot of time in front of screens. Whether I'm writing a report or editing photos, I'm looking at screens at all hours of the day. I recently purchased some very expensive glasses to use for screens. Then I found EyeBuyDirect.
EyeBuyDirect offered to send me two frames from their RFLKT range with the lenses of my choice. I opted for one pair with computer lenses, and one pair I turned into sunglasses by adding tinted lenses.
Aura Frame in Frosted Vanilla*
I picked the Aura frame in frosted vanilla to be my computer glasses. I love the clear frames that I'd been seeing all over the Internet, and thought that a nice spin on clear frames. Plus, the warm golden colour really compliments my pale skin tone. The frames are big and have a geek-chic feel to them.
I got the EBD blue lenses in them, which are designed to help protect your eyes from the harsh blue light emitted by digital screens. They're designed to help alleviate headaches and fatigue, which are symptoms I often experience when using screens.

For the sunglasses, I went with the Shade frame in cinnamon. The golden red colour suits my blonde hair and green eyes perfectly. I opted for some non-prescription, tinted lenses. I picked the dark black tint, plus water repellant coating, anti-reflective coating, and UV protective coating to ensure my eyes would be protected from the sun. I'm trying to make a more conscious effort to wear sunglasses, as it's really important to protect my eyes from the Australian sun. I can definitely see myself getting a lot of wear out of these!

I look forward to protecting my eyes from screens and the sun with these gorgeous frames.
